Serial Xtractor™
On the belt
In build with partnersCapture as the asset travels. No station, no stop, no queue behind the one device that will not read.
- Capture point
- In motion
- Line impact
- No stop required
- Status
- In development
We are building this now, on a real line. If you run a conveyor and serial capture is what slows down your operation, we want to hear from you.
Why a station becomes the bottleneck
At volume, a scanning station is a queue. Every asset has to arrive, be presented, be read and be moved on, and the line runs at the speed of that one point. Capturing on the belt takes the station out of the path entirely.
What we are building
A head mounted over the conveyor system that reads each asset as it passes and writes to the same record as every other deployment. It is in development with an equipment manufacturer, on their line.
- Reads assets in motion.
- Same record and same certificate as every other deployment.
- Being developed against a real line, at real speed.
The same model, whichever deployment you run
The deployment decides where the record gets made. What reads the label is the same model in every one of them, and this is how it performs.
For high-throughput operators
If you run a conveyor line and serial capture is the part that slows it down, we would like to hear how it is set up. This is in development, and what you need can still shape it.
Other deployments
Every deployment runs the same workflow and produces the same record. How Serial Xtractor works
We're on a mission to bring automation to ITAD
